Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority Conducts Field Visit to "Reef Island" Project
H.E Engineer Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), along with H.E Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of RERA, and Mr. Rony Muawadh, Chairman of Reef Island Central Owners Association, conducted a field visit to the "Reef Island" project.
This visit is part of RERA's efforts to enhance partnerships with the private sector, ensure the implementation of licensed real estate projects, and review new projects undertaken by various real estate development companies. RERA aims to provide all necessary facilitation for the development of real estate projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the visit, H.E Engineer Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf emphasized the role of real estate development projects in driving economic growth and enhancing stability in Bahrain. He highlighted that the "Reef Island" project is one of the leading residential and tourist destinations in the Kingdom, offering housing opportunities alongside new tourist facilities.
H.E Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of RERA, reiterated the Authority's continued support for various real estate projects that contribute to the sector. He assured that all necessary facilitation would be provided to real estate developers for the creation of more modern investment projects. H.E noted that the "Reef Island" project is a key initiative attracting both visitors and investors, thereby strengthening the national economy.
Mr. Mr. Rony Muawadh, Chairman of Reef Island Central Owners Association, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for RERA's role in providing all the necessary support and facilities for the success of the "Reef Island" project and other new initiatives. He mentioned that the project aims to offer more luxury residential units as well as unique tourist amenities, especially new restaurants and villas overlooking the waterfront. The new expansion is expected to be completed by next year, 2025, with the addition of more attractive projects characteristic of "Reef Island
