His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa addresses some of RERA’s achievements to creating a stable and a sustainable real estate sector
The CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, confirmed that since RERA commenced in March 2018, it sought to overcome all the obstacles it faced in implementing the provisions of Law No. 27 of 2017 with respect to regulation of the real estate sector, where it has prepared all necessary studies with all stakeholders and then arranged and issued resolutions that are implemented by the provisions of the law.
RERA also conducted many workshops and participated in local and international real estate exhibitions and worked on hosting these exhibitions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, also provided training courses and media campaigns to raise awareness within all the sector regarding the rights and duties to achieve stability in accordance with the highest levels of transparency, which RERA aspires to achieve with a high level of procedures that guarantee rights and emphasize duties.
His Excellency added that RERA is working continuously today to prepare studies and consultations to issue new resolutions in line with the requirements and variables of the real estate sector to ensure that its objectives are achieved in accordance with the national real estate plan 2021-2024, which was approved by the esteemed Cabinet.
