President of Survey &Land Registration and Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning visit Amwaj Islands and Diyar Al Muharraq

His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Survey & Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) and Chairman of the Board of Real Estate Regulation Authority (RERA), H.E. Engineer Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and a members of RERA’s team, toured both the Diyar al-Muharraq real estate project and the Amwaj Islands real estate project, as part of the periodic field tours to see the progress at these large real estate projects, and to see closely the latest developments and stages of completion of private projects in these projects.

 At the beginning of the tour, His Excellency Sheikh Salman, the Minister and the CEO of RERA accompanied by the team members visited the Amwaj Islands project, where mr. Khalid Abdul Rasul Al Sharif was at the reception of the Amwaj Islands, where he briefed them on the projects of the Marina and some public facilities in the and the sub-projects contained in the islands including residential, tourism and commercial projects, and then moved to the floating city project, which is considered one of the distinctive areas in terms of providing the residential environment Floating on the seawater where Mr. Mahmoud al-Mahmoud, on behalf of the  Owners Association, was at the reception.


 They then made a field tour to the Diyar al-Muharraq project,Mr. Abdul Hakim Yacoub Al Khayat, CEO of KFH, chairman of Diyar al-Muharraq company, and Mr. Ahmed Al Amadi, CEO of Diyar al-Muharraq company, where at the reception and provided a detailed explanation of the developments at Diyar al-Muharraq, a variety of real estate projects in terms of modern designs and designs that mimic the local environment of Bahrain, able to provide housing solutions for citizens of all social groups, with unique and innovative investment that includes large tourism and commercial projects, and common areas capable of creating a distinct investment and life environment.

His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said: "Today we are reaping the benefits of the comprehensive development civilization project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa visions and aspirations aimed at attracting qualitative economic projects capable of bringing about comprehensive development that reflects directly on the citizens and provides them with better jobs and economic life, and this is reflected in the plans, projects and programs of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness. Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who adopted a policy of economic diversification and focus on non-oil sectors, including the real estate sector to contribute to the Bahraini economy, provide a stimulating investment environment and create simple regulations and procedures."


His Excellency added that such real estate projects create integrated conditions that will revive the real estate market, encourages investors and to establish and expand such innovative large projects as they provide safe and profitable economic opportunities, especially with a solid base of legislation protecting rights and emphasizing duties, with clear government actions that are stimulating investment.

HE Engineer Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf said: "The distinguished government has been able to translate its national development policies, through pioneering projects supervised and implemented in accordance with best practices, which have been strengthened by the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of the Prime Minister."

 HE Khalaf stressed: "Economic projects in the public and private sectors have witnessed remarkable development thanks to the flexibility of regulations, laws and legislation stimulating investment and economic development, and the quality of competitive options offered by the Kingdom of Bahrain for investment, which constitute promising opportunities for a more developed life and well-being at all levels," pointing out that the development of the infrastructure of the Kingdom of Bahrain is going according to economic vision 2030.


 HE Engineer Khalaf also added that the development of infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain is considered advanced, stimulating real estate investment and investors, stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain has a strong and solid infrastructure built over decades, thanks to the wisdom of His Majesty the King.
