Real Estate Regulatory Authority holds board meeting.
The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) today held a board meeting remotely and discussed the amendment of some articles of the law in line with the requirements of the current situation of the property market.
Chaired by Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) President Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the session also discussed regulations of real estate advertisements.
The board meeting also stressed the importance of adhering to transparency and accuracy in order to enhance the safety and stability of work in the real estate market.
It was also briefed on what has been reached with regard to the real estate information bank project which will contribute to providing accurate real estate information that benefits those interested in the property sector and real estate developers.
It reviewed the latest developments in the Reef Island project and possible legal solutions to the island's status, which would rectify the situation in accordance with the powers available by law and achieve the public interest.
RERA Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa gave a presentation and shed light on the periodic report to follow up on the implementation of the National Real Estate Sector Plan 2021-2024.
