RERA Launches the Second Edition of the Bahrain Real Estate Innovation Competition
The Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), His Excellency Engineer Ebrahim Mohammed Abul, has announced the launch of the second edition of the Bahrain Real Estate Innovation Competition. This initiative is part of implementing the first pillar of the National Real Estate Sector Plan (2021-2024) and is supported by platinum sponsor "Infracorp" and gold sponsor "Diyar Al Muharraq," reflecting collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Abul explained that this year's competition will focus on innovative real estate solutions, sustainability in real estate development, and proptech (property technology). He added that the competition represents a unique opportunity for national talents to transform their creative ideas into tangible realities and turn challenges into opportunities. It also provides a platform for individuals seeking employment opportunities with major real estate companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Board member and CEO of Infracorp, Mr. Majed AlKhan, praised the pioneering initiative launched by RERA, highlighting the importance of public-private sector partnerships in organizing such motivational competitions. He also emphasized the pivotal role the competition plays in empowering national talents and expanding their horizons to execute sustainable projects in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. Al Khan confirmed Infracorp's full support for innovative ideas, ensuring they are turned into successful investment projects.
Likewise, the CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq, Engineer Ahmed Ali Al Emadi, expressed his delight at the company’s participation in the second edition, given its involvement in the success of the first. He noted the competition's role in motivating and showcasing creative talents in Bahrain's real estate sector.
Al Emadi added that the competition invites participants to think outside the box and develop sustainable solutions that will enhance the future of Bahrain’s real estate sector. He reaffirmed Diyar Al Muharraq's support for initiatives that contribute to developing national talent and transforming their ideas into real-life projects. He also looked forward to seeing the new ideas that will shape a brighter future for the real estate market.
Registration for the competition will be open to all citizens from September 10 until October 12 of this year, through RERA’s website (rera.gov.bh), where all relevant registration information can be accessed.
